These are some of the cookbooks I like to use, or have talked about on the blog.
Clicking on the titles will take you to Amazon where you can purchase them if you'd like.
Cooking for Two - Of all the recipe books I received from our wedding, this one has been hands-down the most useful. I still like to reference it every now and then when I've forgotten how to make a certain sauce, or need ideas for an easy meal!
Lots of classic recipes made super simple, and super easy. This book is best for those just starting out as it goes over things like how to make pancakes, different breads, soups, casseroles, and lots of other fun things.
Rival Crock Pot - Everyone needs a good crock pot recipe book (in my opinion), and this is the one that I use the most often.
This thing is loaded with recipes - although I will admit we have barely scratched the surface in our house having only tried a small handful of them. Some of our favorites are the Blue Crab Bruschetta, Chicken Fiesta Soup, and the frequently asked for - Barbecued Pulled Pork.
Jeffrey Saad's Global Kitchen - This was a special buy while I was at the Museum of Natural History, and wow has it been delicious so far!
One of my favorite parts about this cookbook is how at the beginning of each section (Spain, Italy, France etc.) Saad goes over some of the common spices in that region and usually adds some tips on how to use them. I have definitely learned a lot going through some of his recipes and have even been able to come up with a few spice combos of my own!
